Dejan received his degree and additional four year postgraduate specialist training in Oral Surgery and Implantology from the University of Witten / Herdecke in Germany, while his research activity and subsequent doctoral thesis was in the field of Oral Medicine. 

He relocated to London in 2005, and has had extensive experience in both the academic and private fields of dentistry, including within the Oral Medicine Unit at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH), before opening his own clinic in 2014.

Dejan is treating patients with complex surgical problems. His areas of clinical expertise include implant therapy, as well as bone and soft tissue rehabilitation.

He works on a multi-disciplinary basis, in collaboration with Orthodontists, Prosthodontists and Periodontists. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and also acts as a mentor for the Straumann Clinical Mentoring scheme and thereby is able to pass on his expertise to those training to be Oral Surgeons.

Dejan is a perfectionist and his personality is reflected in the clinic he has so carefully designed. He is now establishing D-Clinic in Zürich and expanding his work in collaboration with Dr. Arno König, as well as Prof. Dr. Julia Wittneben.

Ensuring that even the most anxious patient is made to feel relaxed and reassured, he combines true professionalism with genuine warmth and informality.
